Keeping on top of the Party Season!

Christmas is looming with only a handful of sleeps left and no doubt many of us will be burning the candle at both ends as the party season kicks into full swing. If you’re having trouble keeping up with the early mornings and late nights here are a few top tips to help keep you looking and feeling fresh, energetic and ready to party the night away!

Up Do’s

If you have long hair you may want to save time by not washing it every day and creating a fantastic, stunning up do instead. There are many hair accessories available which can help you create the perfect bun or help keep plaits and pony tails in place, visit Accessorize for some great inspirational ideas. Party Makeup

Manicure coursesIf you’re in a rush and going straight from work to a Christmas do, make sure you put on your party make up last. If you’re changing your top do this first and then start applying your make up. This will save time and avoid any mishaps with smudged makeup. If you’re worried about spilling powder over your party top wear an old cardigan on top for protection. Remember as well to always start with your eye shadow first!

Christmas Nails

A great way to give your hands a makeover is to add a little Christmas colour to your nails. Why not add a little glitz and sparkle but make sure you go for a colour that will easily match your festive wardrobe.

Watch the alcohol

Having too much alcohol especially over a prolonged period of time can easily sap your energy and make you feel tired and worn out. If you have a busy social schedule you could always opt to be the designated driver for a couple of events to give yourself and your liver a break. Alternatively keep the quantity down and make sure you drink plenty of water to counter balance the alcohol intake, especially the morning after.

Reduce Bloatedness

If you’re tummy feels full and bloated after eating out for nights on the trot try drinking peppermint tea which is a great natural remedy for reducing that horrible bloated feeling. At this time of year it’s always great to catch up with friends and family so why not take advantage of the festive season and make some dates.
