January is always a long month but thankfully we are now very nearly the end with the delight of spring to look forward to in just a few weeks.
If you have suffered from the January Blues try our top tips below to keep you feeling great, refreshed and your body energised!
Giving your body a thorough detox will help get rid of any sluggishness you may have felt after the indulgences of the Christmas period. There are many different plans you can follow but try selecting one that works well with your lifestyle and also your diet.
Start the day off with a mug of hot water and a slice of lemon. This combination is a well-known anti-toxin and helps increase your chances of losing weight. It can also help reduce heartburn, bloating and burping! It will also get your metabolism working and is a far more healthy choice than coffee.
January is when many of us make New Year resolutions with good intentions, but who can honestly say they stick to them? If you are like many of us who are not convinced you’ll go to the gym even if you do sign up and pay money, why not try an exercise regime at home first and see if you stick with that. There are plenty of things you can do at home without the need of a full blown gym. Why not take up jogging or use exercise DVD’s. Alternatively you could even set up a circuit using items around the house such as tins for weights, some rope for skipping and the stairs for stepping!
And lastly but by no means least, why not indulge yourself and give yourself a treat. There are many beauty treatments available which will give you a lift and banish those January Blues. If you fancy experimenting with make-up why not book yourself in for a make-over and try some new shades of colour and techniques. If relaxing and unwinding is more your thing, an all over body massage or facial will help ease away any stresses and strains. If you’d prefer to give your hands and feet a treat, why not have a nail treatment with some bright and colourful nail art.
