Eyelash Extensions

Qualification: Level 3 award in eyelash extensions (QCF)

The level 3 award in eyelash extensions (QCF) is a specialist qualification. You will be provided with the knowledge and skills required to enable application of semi permanent eyelash extensions. This course can be added to additional short courses to become a fully qualified beauty therapist or for therapists wishing to advance their profession.

Course content:

• Health & Safety in the salon
• Client Care & Communication
• Contra-indications / Contra-actions / Homecare / Aftercare
• Anatomy & Physiology (relevant to studies)
• Consultation / Treatment Planning / skin analysis / Aftercare / Homecare
• Apply, maintain, remove semi permanent eyelashes
• Case Studies / Tasks / Written paper for each unit / Portfolio / Assessments

Entry Requirements: Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Specialist Techniques (QCF) / Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy General (QCF) / Level 2 Certificate in Cosmetic Make-up (QCF) / an equivalent

Further Training/Progression: Level 2 & level 3 beauty therapy qualifications / short courses to advance your career

Career Paths: Specialise in eyelash extensions, advance your career as a fully qualified beauty therapist Or gain a full qualification as a beauty therapist, work in salons / Spas, Freelance work, representative.
